Register or renew without a Product internet connection
Transfer an encrypted request and approved activation between an isolated installation and Support.
Before you start
You need a separate connected device, the configured Support portal, the owning account, and an approved way to transfer files. The portal and signing service must be available.
The 720 powered on hour allowance also applies offline. An isolated installation is not exempt from registration or renewal.
Exchange the files
- Open Registration & licence as System Owner on the current authority.
- For initial registration, generate the offline request. For renewal, choose Renew using a file.
- Transfer the encrypted request to the connected device. Keep its filename and bytes unchanged.
- Open the portal address shown by Pūnaha. Sign in to the owning account and submit the request.
- Review the current terms and complete the required approval.
- Download the approved encrypted activation and return it to the original installation.
- Import it through the matching Product action and check the result.
Check the result
Pūnaha verifies the request, installation binding, signature, serial, and validity. The status must show the new active term. A downloaded or submitted file alone is not proof of activation.
If an import is rejected
Use the activation for this exact request and installation. Old serials, wrong recipients, and expired activations are rejected. Correct a computer date error before requesting a new time limited file.
Keep the installation's protected state. Repeated exports do not reset the allowance. Record only the request reference and safe error code when asking for help.
Next step
Read Registration and renewal for timing, restricted access, and acceptance receipts.
