Fix registration and renewal problems
Recover from expired allowances, rejected activation files, or an unverifiable powered clock.
Start with what you see
Choose the closest problem
Select one symptom. You will still check the evidence before changing anything.
What you see
- Only sign in and registration are available.
- The powered hour allowance is exhausted or cannot be verified.
- An activation file is rejected.
- The request is waiting for Support approval.
What it means
Normal work needs an active term or a remaining verified allowance. A submitted request has not yet activated the installation. Restricted access retains your data without ordinary access or export.
Likely causes
The allowance may be exhausted. The activation may belong to another request or installation. The hardware clock or protected state may be unavailable or inconsistent.
Safe checks
- Sign in as System Owner and open Registration & licence.
- Read the request reference, term, allowance, and current next action.
- Check the Product's configured Support connection or use the offline exchange.
- Check that the returned activation belongs to the current request.
- For a clock error, have the operator check TPM health and the matching protected state.
Solutions
Complete registration or renewal and apply a verified active term. Correct a computer date error before generating a new time limited request.
Restore the corresponding protected Control record and node state together when recovering a backup. Do not delete counters, clear the TPM, or restore only one side.
A full VM snapshot including its vTPM and protected state needs independent operational controls. Local software cannot promise detection of every complete machine rollback.
What to collect
Record the Product version, request reference, status, safe error code, and time. Do not collect private keys, activation secrets, passwords, or unfiltered database contents.
Next step
Read Offline registration and renewal or Registration timing.
