Register and renew an installation
Register the Product, review renewal terms, and understand the powered hour allowance.
One full Product
Pūnaha permits personal and organisational use. The current issued 12 month software licence term costs US$0 from the signed issue date. Optional paid support is separate and is not required for registration or renewal.
You may use multiple versions and independent installations under their issued terms. Register each independent installation. Its approved cluster nodes belong to that installation.
Future renewal pricing is undecided and may include a charge based on user group demand and actual maintenance and development costs. Proposed terms and prices will be disclosed in advance. Paid renewal requires explicit acceptance. There is no automatic charge or obligation to renew. Issued terms and prior accepted commitments are honoured. Optional support is separate.
Renew or export before the 720 powered on hour cutoff. Ordinary processing, administration, customer data access, and exports stop after that cutoff. Data is retained. This allowance is not 30 calendar days.
Before you start
Finish first setup and sign in as System Owner. Open Registration & licence on the current configuration authority. The configured Support service must be available for approval.
Register and activate
- Start registration and review the installation and owner information.
- Continue to the configured Support portal. Register for yourself or an organisation you are authorised to represent.
- Review and accept the displayed licence version. Treat optional email sharing as a separate choice.
- Submit the request and follow its approval status.
- When activation is available, return to Pūnaha and apply the verified activation.
- Check the active term and the next required action.
Submitting a request does not complete activation. Use the file exchange when the Product cannot reach Support.
The 720 powered on hour allowance
Initial registration has 720 powered on hours after first setup. Each expired registered term has the same 720 hour renewal allowance. Normal use is available during the allowance.
Time with the TPM powered off does not count. Stopping only the Product service does not stop the host TPM clock. Sleep, standby, and VM suspension depend on the platform's TPM behaviour.
Ordinary restarts and computer date changes do not reset or extend the allowance. Adding nodes does not multiply it. Repeated requests and membership updates do not replenish it.
The registered term has signed calendar validity. The allowance is a fixed Product rule. It is not customer editable and has no separate calendar grace period.
Renew the term
Renewal becomes available during the 60 days before expiry. Choose Renew online or Renew using a file. Apply the approved activation and check the new term.
When the allowance ends
Only sign in, registration, renewal, activation, and necessary identity recovery remain available. Normal APIs, tenant access, background processing, exports, and unrelated administration stop.
Expiry does not delete customer data. A valid new activation restores normal use. A clock or protected state problem may also restrict access until repaired.
Check the result
Confirm registration is active and ordinary work is available. Retain the immutable acceptance receipt and its exact document versions and hashes.
If registration cannot finish
Read Fix registration and renewal problems. Do not reset clocks, delete allowance records, or clear the TPM to obtain more time.
