Connections
Understand how a Connection lets approved work reach another system safely.
What a Connection is
A Connection stores the address, sign in method, network rules, and secret needed to reach email, an API, or a database.
A workflow refers to the Connection. It does not need to store the password or key in its own definition.

Why it matters
Connections keep shared system settings in one managed place. An administrator can test, disable, or update a Connection without copying its secret into each workflow.
What a test means
A successful test means the saved Connection worked at that time. It does not prove that every remote action is allowed or that the remote service will stay available.
A draft workflow should still test the exact operation it needs with safe sample information.
Who manages it
Tenant administrators manage the saved Connection. Solution builders choose an approved Connection in a draft. Access administrators decide who may view, change, test, or delete it.
