RC1 rebuild of 12 October 2026
Identify the published RC1 packages, their changes, and the checks completed for these exact binaries.
Exact release identity
This is an evaluation prerelease. The application version remains 0.1.0-rc.1. The distribution revision is rebuild-20261012, published on 12 October 2026.
All four platform packages use Product commit 2f6774f212e10c0f32f01be073f3f0cbe03382d7 and Go 1.26.5. A matching version number alone does not identify these bytes.
| Platform | Executable build label |
|---|---|
| Windows | rc1-windows-path-fix-20261012 |
| Ubuntu and Debian 13 | rc1-rebuild-20261012-ubuntu |
| RHEL 9 | rc1-rebuild-20261012-rhel9 |
Check the signed release details and their signature. Use the matching downloads and verification instructions.
Changes affecting these guides
- Current product wording uses Punaha. New Windows installations use
Program Files\Punaha, and uninstall cleanup follows that path. - Models show backend readiness separately from memory state. Platform Configuration shows saved backend health and compatibility notices.
- Repeated GPU failures can hold a backend across restarts. Automatic processing permits CPU recovery. A manual GPU only policy remains strict.
- Manual model testing repeats each profile three times. A held backend needs successful tests for every affected workload before reuse.
- A narrowly matched Intel Vulkan configuration receives an automatic compatibility setting. This is not acceptance of every Intel GPU or driver.
- The worker transport preserves an explicitly selected chat temperature of zero. Answer checks remain necessary.
- Browser JavaScript is minified and internal identifiers are shortened. Source maps are excluded. Browser code remains inspectable.
The public customer API retains 73 paths, 96 operations and 186 schemas. The API reference has been regenerated from this exact source. Administrative backend health is not a newly exposed customer API.
What was tested for these packages
| Platform | Completed checks | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Windows | Fresh install, first setup page, repair, service restart, complete uninstall and reinstall. Repair preserved configuration and protected setup identity. | Exact signed MSI in an isolated Windows Server 2025 VM. |
| Ubuntu, Debian 13 and RHEL 9 | Package signatures, inventories, dependencies, licence acceptance and native runtime loading. Real CPU generation and embeddings with Qwen3 0.6B models. | WSL and container checks. These are not complete customer host installations. |
| All four archives | Published downloads read back and checked for signatures, hashes and exact file inventories. | Authenticity and package contents. This does not establish production readiness. |
Acceptance still outstanding
- Full TPM backed Linux installation on the target host.
- Database backed setup and authenticated browser model and chat checks for these new binaries.
- New GPU acceptance and sustained workload testing on the intended hardware.
- In place upgrade, rollback and broader production qualification.
Earlier Gemma and GPU recordings apply to their recorded builds. They do not prove acceptance of this rebuild.
Installation and registration limits
Use a fresh, separate evaluation installation. Do not apply the older repair2 bundle. Intel SYCL needs an ASCII only Local runtime path.
Registration cannot be completed in RC1. Installation does not issue a 12 month activation. Export evaluation data before the 720 TPM powered on hour cutoff.
At the cutoff, normal processing, administration, customer data access and exports stop. Data is retained. Powered off time does not count. This is not 30 calendar days.
Read RC1 availability and the unchanged educational registration guide for the terms and intended production process.
Help and documentation identity
These are editable Next guides reviewed against this distribution. Automatic version specific Help routing is not included in this published Product build.
Open the guides directly if the installation's Help destination is unavailable. Read how documentation versions work.
